[GOOD NEWS] Binance, Bittrex Lowers Monero(XMR) Withdrawal Transaction Fees [GOOD NEWS] Binance, Bittrex Lowers Monero(XMR) Withdrawal Transaction Fees
Major cryptocurrency exchanges reduce the Monero Privacy Coin (XMR) withdrawal rates, as transaction fees are now much lower now as XMR áhas added Bulletproofs to its network. The bullet-proofs, set up last week, reduce transaction costs on the Monero network. Withdrawal transaction charges have always been a problem for all members of the cryptocurrency community. This was particularly felt with Monero because its privacy áfeatures add to transaction, users sometimes have to pay high fees to take their cryptocurrency out of the exchanges platform. No more than yesterday, Binance and Bittrex announced that they would reduce the XMR withdrawal fee to 0.0001 XMR. Considering that the XMR is currently trading at $ 107, the 0.0001 XMR means a withdrawal fee of only $ 0.01. This represents a huge discount for merchants who had already paid XMR 0.04 to withdraw from Binance. This posting was first seen by us on October 27, 2018 9:47 AM. Want the GUI to get better Fund this full time developer!
Many improvements to make. My full-time focus will give it the attention it needs. My Qt workflow (using qml-xmr) is efficient and can more quickly iterate on changes. I expect I'll probably be working on things like new QML components, decoupling existing javascript from QML, some C++, making sure buildbot compiles, managing issue tracker, writing documentation etc etc. This is a limited set of to-do's straight from the issue tracker. There is, most definitely, more. The above list serves as an indication of things I want to look into. 3 months lines up with the amount of work I plan on doing. 40 hours a week. 45$ a hour. With the Monero exchange rate at ~ $102, and a target rate of $45 a hour, three months end up giving a donations target of 180 XMR. This share was retrieved by us on October 27, 2018 5:46 AM. Should Coinbase consider the listing of Monero (XMR) Crypto Recorder Should Coinbase consider the listing of Monero (XMR) Crypto Recorder
The prestige and value gained from a Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange has seen most of the cryptocurrencies push for a listing on the exchange. Since Ethereum Classic (ETC) listing, one that caused a 30% increase in the price of ETC, Coinbase has continued to offer signals of listing a few more cryptocurrencies on the exchange as they target the global reach. Of the coins set to gain a listing, ZCash (ZEC) is the only privacy coin currency in consideration, begging the question of why XMR was not placed on the list. Monero (XMR) currently stands above the rest of the privacy coins in market capitalization and overall adoption rates. As the pioneer in the field of blockchain privacy and with easy compliance routines on the blockchain, Coinbase should start considering the possibility of listing the coin. Monero Fees Down To Almost 0! Monero Fees Down To Almost 0!
It just last week that we reported on the fact that the billion dollar crypto company known as Monero was to introduce a new technology known as ?bulletproofs? to their platform. Just a week later we?re happy to report that as a result of this new cryptography which was implemented on Thursday, Monero?s transaction fees have seen a drastic fall. According to new data published by BitInfoCharts, the average fee for Monero fell from around $0.54 to $0.021 cents as of a Saturday which is whopping 96% drop! Of course, this dramatic drop was in fact predicted by Monero devs: ?I think you can safely say a typical [transaction] fee goes down by more than 95 percent,? Monero core developer ?moneromooo? claimed last week. This article was first seen by us on October 26, 2018 10:29 AM. Have a look at coinbeat.com to find more similar content.

Monero Thrives In The Crypto Market Following All Its Recent Developments Monero Thrives In The Crypto Market Following All Its Recent Developments
Monero (XMR) is currently occupying the tenth position in the crypto market, and it has been making headlines with its important development-related announcements. Its latest update, for instance, was aimed at improving its network. The token made its first sparks after a long time due to a bug which has been detected in the wallet by its developers. This could have given attackers the ability to burn funds of an organization which is on Monero?s ecosystem. More than that, this could have been carried out by attackers without even making additional payments apart from the transaction fees. But, the attacker would have gained some benefits from the attack indirectly. This data was retrieved by us on October 25, 2018 6:00 PM. Visit oracletimes.com to find more similar content.

The currency has always lit its first spark due to an error discovered by its developer?s wallet. The mistake could allow the attackers to spend money on an organization that belongs to the Monero ecosystem. This could also have been done by the attackers without an additional payment in addition to the transaction fees. However, the attacker would have indirectly benefited from the attack and would not have obtained any benefit. Prior to this incident, the wallet had been disconnected by several exchanges, including Bittrex and Poloniex. Monero has become the best on the market with the announcement of its rigid fork, Beryllium Bullet. This had annoyed the entire community due to accusations that this difficult deviation would increase anonymity and reduce transaction costs. In addition, Monero had released a new version of its wallet, v0.13.xx.xx, during the same period, and users had to upgrade to the new version. Monero fees plummet to a couple of cents, as the privacy-centric cryptocurrency releases Beryllium Bullet, a highly anticipated system-wide software upgrade. The core change in Monero 0.13.0 includes the introduction of bulletproofs, a breakthrough cryptographic technology that restructures the verification of Confidential Transactions, the technique that helps Monero obfuscate transacted amounts Last week Monero introduced a major upgrade called Beryllium Bullet. Since the hardfork the average fee has gone down from about 60 cents per transaction to measly 2 cents. Along with the fees, the average XMR transaction size has dropped from 18Kb to 3Kb, according to Coinmetrics.io. This is the result of a major change in the restructuring of the verification of Confidential Transactions, a method whereby Monero hides transaction amounts. The new technique is called Bulletproofs, a highly sophisticated cryptographic technology that prior to the hardfork was only conceptual. This share was first seen by us on October 25, 2018 9:57 AM. Top 5 Anonymous Cryptocurrency Offerings in 2018
Anonymity was what originally made Bitcoin famous as a digital currency. Born out of the 2008 financial crisis, the idea of a currency which couldn?t be tracked (or outright confiscated) by banks and governments caught on fast. Sadly, the true anonymity benefits of Bitcoin have since been undermined significantly. The good news, however, is that anonymous forms of cryptocurrency now exist, which are far superior to Bitcoin in terms of speed, affordability, and price stability. Monero has reached the 50-day SMA, which might act as a resistance. If the bulls break out of $112.5, the probability of a rise to $128.65 increases. If the XMR/USD pair turns down from the 50-day SMA, it can slide to $100. The moving averages are flat and the RSI is close to the neutral territory. This shows equilibrium between the buyers and sellers. If the bulls break out of the current range of $100.453?$128.65, the rally can extend to $150, which might act as a stiff resistance. A break down of $100 can plunge the pair to $81. We don?t find any buy setups, and are thus not recommending any trades on the pair. This information was found by us on October 25, 2018 1:55 AM. Why Hackers Love Monero More Than Bitcoin Why Hackers Love Monero More Than Bitcoin
Wannacry is one of the most widespread malware in history. This ransomware locks up (or encrypts) all files in your computer and demands ransom payment in the form of bitcoin (an equivalent of $300). More than 200?000 computers in more than 150 countries were infected so far. But even though the numbers are daunting, there was not much damage done and the attackers were only able to make about $100?000 in ransom. Well, Wannacry encrypts the files on your computer. Once your files are encrypted, you cannot open them until you decrypt them with a decryption key. But the catch is that only the hacker holds this key. And he wants money for it. So until you pay, all your documents, images, spreadsheets, and other important files, that you probably don't have backed up, are inaccessible. The upsurge is attributable to a recent announcement of a partnership deal in the UAE. According to the recent release, the NEM Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates? Ministry of Communications Development. With the MoU, NEM would be offering blockchain consultation services to the MOCD. Other areas of cooperation between NEM and the ministry is in data sharing with regard to research and development carried out by the foundation on blockchain applications that could be of use to MOCD. Monero, the open source cryptocurrency project with a strong focus on privacy, fungibility, and decentralization, is now ?bulletproof.? Last Thursday, October 18, the Monero network underwent a system wide upgrade that involved the activation of bulletproofs. Bulletproofs is a highly anticipated form of cryptography that increases the privacy of digital currency transactions while at the same time significantly decreasing their size. The reduced transaction size has resulted in the dramatic decrease of Monero fees by 96%. Fees fell from $0.54 on Thursday to a mere $0.021 cents on Saturday. Monero?s average transaction size is now 3kb versus a pre-fork average of 18.5kb. Below is a visual representation of the transaction size decrease since the implementation of bulletproofs. Even though it does not happen all that often, the Monero price is going through a very positive spell right now. Some of the project?s recent developments have [finally] received the attention they deserve. A reduction in transaction size combined with lower fees make XMR one of the cheaper currencies to use today. In the altcoin industry, there are two ways to boost the value of a specific currency. The first option is generating a lot of hype by getting listed on new exchanges. That strategy appears to work quite well for a lot of projects, albeit it doesn?t serve a long-term purpose Option two is to build a better infrastructure, which is exactly what the Monero developers have been doing.
