Monero: Price Analysis, November 2 Monero: Price Analysis, November 2
November 03, 2018 1:54 AM The bulls are attempting to defend the support at $100.453, whereas the bears are stalling the pullback at the 20-day EMA. Monero will correct to $90 if it plunges below $100.453, and will move up to $112.5 if it breaks out of the 20-day EMA. A break out of $112.5 might carry the cryptocurrency to $128.65. Below $100.453, the XMR/USD pair can correct to the bottom of the $81?$150 large range. If the price bounces strongly from $81, we might suggest a long position on the pair. However, if the bears break this support, a fall to $61 is probable. Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.

North Korea Allegedly Continues Cryptojacking Efforts to Obtain Monero North Korea Allegedly Continues Cryptojacking Efforts to Obtain Monero
November 02, 2018 3:25 AM The correlation between North Korea and cryptocurrency remains clouded. Numerous experts claim North Korean hackers target cryptocurrency exchanges and users. A new report indicates hackers are using cryptojacking methods against South Korean consumers. Proving the involvement of North Korea incryptocurrency hacks has been challenging. Although speculation runs wild, the opinions remain rather divided on this front. While Bitcoin booms in South Korea, it is far from an official currency in the North. That does not mean it isn?t of potential interest to state-sponsored hackers. A set of claims materialized back in January of 2018. Several computers contained cryptocurrency mining malware. It is suspected the culprits are North Korean hackers intent on mining Monero. This altcoin can, unlike Bitcoin, be mined with regular computer hardware in a semi-efficient manner.

That is what XTend Online has learned from Monero?s planned PoW algorithm change on Oct. 18. XTend Online?s Hyperminers have proven totally resistant to the change. November 01, 2018 3:26 PM While Monero is a leading cryptocurrency when it comes to privacy, safe storage of private keys is where it lacks. If you aren't a big fan of Ledger like me, your only option is storing the keys on a paper wallet. The good news is, Pavol Rusnak from SatoshiLabs recently announced Monero support in theirTrezor Model T! The bad news is, the wallet support isn't finished yet nor it is easy to set up. It's 28th of October and everybody is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia. Meanwhile, I am finalizing the new firmware for Trezor, which will be released tomorrow. While thesamein some way or shape is targeted by the leading coins, there is a miss-lead taking place. The nature to conform to present regulations set by officials can be felt from the top-cryptocurrencies, which is in contrary to the above-mentioned original idea. The Mystery of "Ezekiel Osborne," the Monero Cofounder Who Wasn't The Mystery of
October 31, 2018 8:57 AM Just over a week ago, Forbes Middle East published a profile of Ezekiel Osborne, described in the piece as a ?crypto millionaire,? principal in a Middle East-focused cryptocurrency services group, and, most impressively, one of the seven co-creators of the privacy-focused cryptocurrency Monero. Much of this now appears to have been fiction. Known Monero developers have denied any knowledge of Osborne, while onlookers quickly noticed his resemblance to a man previously known as Zeke Echelon and also as Ezekiel de Jong. Under the name Zeke Echelon, this person has advertised himself as the ?Worlds best pumper? (sic), a reference to running so-called pump and dump groups that engaged in collective market manipulation.

October 30, 2018 7:32 PM In this podcast, hosts Vikram Ramakrishnan and Faizaan Shamsi, partners at the software consultancy QuantLayer, talk to investors and builders of the cryptocurrency arena. We discuss how industry participants think about crypto assets, how they uncover fraud in the market, and which technologies will turn the budding, nascent crypto space into the revolutionary powerhouse early market participants had hoped for. We do a victory lap for alerting our users to the ZRX add to Coinbase before everyone else. We then get into a discussion of how exchange additions are similar to public market IPO first day trading pops, like what we saw in Elastic Search recently. We then talk about the state of crypto reporting, and how it has created a mix of pay-to-play bad actors, mainstream media outlets offering 10 year old FUD over and over, and well-meaning actors who create consensus views that smart, contrarian thinkers can profit on by taking the other side. We then do a deep dive on Monero and its recent success in transaction fee reduction from their implementation of bulletproofs.
