On October 25 2018 Dr. Wright claimed to be patenting Bitcoin-related technologies:

Crypto.BI asked Dr. Wright why he’d be patenting Bitcoin technology now and didn’t do it in 2009 if he were the real Satoshi Nakamoto.

It seems illogical that the real Satoshi would create something as revolutionary as Bitcoin, not patent it in 2008/2009 and then proceed to file hundreds of patents so many years later. No offense was intended, it seemed to us like a logical thing to ask.

Dr. Craig Wright blocked our social media account as a result of this question.
