Nick Szabo is an American cryptography specialist, known for pioneering work in digital currencies.
Considered by many to be the father of smart contracts, a concept he developed in the 1990’s.
A few years later, Szabo implemented Bit Gold – a digital currency which laid the framework for several ideas behind modern cryptocurrencies.
In a wide ranging interview with Naval Ravikant and T im Ferriss, Szabo claims Bitcoin is the latest on cryptography:
There are some old ciphers where it’s starting to work but as long as you have the latest stuff like Bitcoin does, then you’re fine.
It is estimated that Nick Szabo’s net worth is around U$ 2 million.
On the other hand, if he is Satoshi Nakamoto, that figure gets multiplied a few thousand times over.
