ELI5 USI Tech / Eyeline Trading / Wealth Boss. Scam? Ponzi? What’s the deal?

USI Tech was a MENA region (UAE-based) cryptocurrency exchange which has been accused of operating a ponzi scheme.

As of this writing, USI Tech’s website is unreachable. There is no IP address associated with the main website host on the DNS database.

The domain name remains registered at Godaddy with the following registration and modification dates:

Creation Date: 2018-06-26T05:56:47Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2020-06-26T05:56:47Z

Eyeline Trading

From mid 2018 through march 2019 USI Tech’s online properties display Eyeline Trading branding and all website visitors were redirected to the eyelinetrading.io domain.

The domain is registered with Namecheap, also using privacy enhancements just as in the GoDaddy USI Tech registration.

The namecheap whois database displays the following dates for eyelinetrading.io:

Updated Date: 2019-03-27T19:38:55Z
Creation Date: 2018-06-08T14:45:49Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2020-06-08T14:45:49Z

Unfortunately, this brand stayed up for only a short period of time, being rebranded once more, this time as a new wealth generation platform called Wealth Boss.

Wealth Boss

Wealth Boss seems to be the latest hop in this chain of companies/operators.

The website is currently live at www.wealthboss.com and promises daily payouts 7 days a week when you send them your Bitcoins.

This is the exact same business model employed by USI Tech and Eyeline Trading.

Unless the platform receives considerable amounts of deposits, it will likely collapse much sooner than the first two.
